What was the deal with the harsh penalty for Norris?

something to do with his breaking on the restart,
correction. he didnt slow down for a yellow flag he didnt see

Guys get less for worse infractions. I don’t think it matters since Verstappen already won the driver championship but it sort of seems overkill.

McLaren held on to beat Ferrari for the constructor’s title with Verstappen winning the driver title. Verstappen and Piastri sideswiped each other right away setting them both back. Levelers for Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton drive excellent races. Norris leads wire to wire and made it look easy. The top of the field is very competitive but at this point the cars and tires are so good the races are pretty ho hum outside the start and maybe a bad mistake by a driver.

Haas made some impressive gains, komatsu exec of the year williams had a short bump but fell back hard
