Was really intrigued with his size when i saw him skate for the Canucks.

Then i saw he has a motor of a beer leaguer on Sunday afternoon skate.

Was hoping he would have the desire to work on his craft and spend some time in Abbotsford next season as they are expected to ice a young , competitve team. but Alas, Kravstov just doesnt have it in him.

So he’s making less than nhl league minimum. Heartless player
After taxes probably comes out even. Plus plays close to home.

When a kid feel entitled to not go to the A to work on his craft since he's not good enough to outscore his mistakes, probably not going to work out.

That's the hard thing to judge about a kid. Most European born players view the AHL as a step down from their pro leagues, so don't want to go there. But, the A uses the same sized rinks so good to help the players transition to the smaller ice surface.

Never forget in 2019 Craig Button ranked Kravtsov and Denisenko the #1 and #2 prospects in the NHL, with Makar at #3

When you look NY Rangers all young players choke. No young players can developpe him to become what he supposed to become. That' not true that all this players are bad. It's an organization problem.
They need to fix that

He is probably happier back home and Vancouver is not really going to be making the playoffs in the next few years

Since the Rangers couldn't develop a cold it falls on them. Lafreniere and Kakko were considered top 2 in their draft by almost everyone. When all prospects under achieve it is obviuosly coaches or development staff.

Boy was I wrong on this guy. Just 2 days ago I said I thought he'd work hard in the offseason, and given the Russian influence on Vancouver would learn about working hard and competing for a spot.

It seems he knew his chances of making the roster were slim and he'd have to work extremely hard, and still likely end up in the AHL for some development. So, he pulls what he did to the Rangers and takes the easy way out.

I can't see anyone wanting this guy in two years. He's shown repeatedly now he doesn't want to have to compete. He doesn't have bedard like talent where he can glide on talent alone. No one wants a mentally soft player.

Thankfully, the canucks didnt give up much but its pathetic that a pro hockey player doesn't have the guts and drive to push to play in the best league in the world, particularly when they are highly skilled.

I thought the same but someone had mentioned he went back to Russia pretty quick with the Rangers, they had little to do with him, he's just a pu$$y.

He played 39 games in the AHL after he was drafted, got 15 points, then bolted back to Russia for 2 years. Then came back to the USA played 20 games for the Rag's got 4 pts, then back to Russia and demanded a trade.

Then he comes back a third time, gets 6 points in 28 games with NYR, 4 pts in 16 games with the Canucks.

He should be in the AHL but kept bolting to Russia because he clearly doesn't want to have to earn a spot and compete. Rangers didn't do anything wrong, the proof is the Canucks tried and go the same result.

This guy wants easy street. The KHL is the best place for him

I was really happy to get him for dimes on the dollar from the Rangers, thinking he still had potential to hit his upside. It was clear pretty quick that he was more of a project than I thought, he lacks any sort of hustle/drive. Kravtsov was going to have a tough time making the team out of camp, so I guess bolting back to Russia was his best option.

Even though it didn't pan out, I'm fine with the cost that it took to try.

He’s on the Nichushkin ark now (is that good or bad at this point?).

Do the Canucks qualify him? Is there a point?
