That's what I have meant when I sarcastically commented about you "not getting the hype around Bjorck" He is a supremely talented player, and a scoring machine. Now, size is a factor and it might limit him, but hype is there for a reason
1st in assists and points for a u17 in J20nationell. 2nd in assists and 4th in points for a u18. 10th in assists and 25th in points all-time overall. There are still 11 games to go and he is 11 points behind the overall leader.

Could make his men's debut tomorrow, if Klasen isn't good to go.
And now that Djurgarden hasn't dominated against top 10 teams and Viggo has 15 points while his best teammate has 9, what's the excuse?
No excuses. It was a question. A thought. Which he probably has answered now. Which is great. Only want the best for all the Swedish boys.

It's no secret that his height will be a factor when it comes to how early he gets drafted. At 5'11 he would be a top 3 candidate IMO. At current listing height, 5'9, it's more difficult to tell.
Here's Viggo compared to his older brother, born 2006:
So, this spring/summer, it'll be interesting to see if he grows as much as big brotha. But having watched Viggo play two recent games for the Swedish U18 team, on the same line as 6'0" Anton Frondell, I do not see a 10 cm difference in height when they stand next to each other. But hard do tell of course.

I doubt he will grow anything. Maybe to 175 cm. His brother was not nearly as stocky as Viggo when having the same height. It's very rare you grow much more or anything if you have that build after a certain age.
It might hurt his draft position, but Viggo is talented enough to be a very good NHL player regardless.

Looks like he'll be on a line with Patrick Thoresen who is 25 years older than him
Had a pretty good first period. Puck steal and a hit in his first shift, a scoring chance/shot in his fourth shift I believe. Plenty of speed and looks very inspired so far

Regarding height, don't see the expected difference between Costmar, who is 181(5'11 and a half) and Bjorck who is 174(5'9)
Had the same thought, Viggo didn't look "that" small in this vid. Nice shot too.
Exciting times to be a Djurgarden fan. Björck, Frondell, Eklund next year in the SHL will be fun.

And there it is, has set a new U18 points record in J20 with 67 points in 38 games (previous record was 66 in 42).
3 points away from U19 record, 4 away from the overall record.

Three of Djurgården’s top players next season (no matter if they will play SHL or HA) will be Frondell, Eklund and Björck. What a season to be a prospects fan. I won’t miss a game. Would be cool to see them on the same line as well.

So, safe to say Björck will break the all-time scoring record in the u20 league. Needs ”only” 4 points in his remaining 6 games. Only an injury, or Björck becoming an HA regular (and Djurgården wanting him well rested for the men’s games) can stop him
