I didn't see any of the games but I know he was kept off the scoresheet today, yesterday and the last game of the regular season last Thursday. I would like to know how he played. Thursday and yesterday were penalty filled games but I would like to know if TT played well despite his team taking so many penalties or if he played poorly too.

He was one of the best Jokerit players yesterday. Today wasn't his best effort. Brutal turnover on the second HPK goal

Is that not a good thing though? It should still count as a sliding year on his ELC if he plays 9 or less, right? Or do playoff games count?

Edit: OK, I see playoff games do count.
 
I doubt Kane will go on LTIR. It would force him out three and a half weeks, which is over the timetable set (so far), albeit only a game or two. Hawks are always reluctant to use LTIR anyway for some unspoken dumb reason.
 
This kid has been overrated to death. No doubt he's talented, but we've seen quite a bit of hype.
 
He is not benched. It was said yesterday by Q he would probably sit as he just arrived yesterday. So he wanted him to get acclimated to the time change and all.

What about him is overrated? Over-hyped maybe, but that's what happens when you dominate the WJC then go to Finland and dominate the 2nd half of the season.

He seems so nervous and put off by the media which is of course very natural for someone his age and in his position.

I just hope he can do as he says and just ignore the media and focus on playing. Kinda wish the media would've let him be at least for the start but what can you do.

Hope he does well when he gets his first game :handclap:
 
I thought he handled himself quite well. Made the media laugh a couple times, was fairly loose and gave honest thought out answer. I'm a fan even though the Hawks are a newfound rival. (Avs supporter) Welcome to the show Teuvo
 
He looks straight out of a 90s kids movie in that interview. If they ever remake The Never Ending Story they should cast him as Bastian.

This. He was little bit nervous but not much.

We'll see how this season goes for him and "Teukka" remember to keep the head up. There are big boys in the league.
