for sure, and Robertson is coming off a 5 point game so that would have just switched, just mean that I wouldn't count ppg as a tick against him in comparison to these guys. And definitely all of their teams are happy with those picks right now, they're all doing great.
Robertson's story is interesting as a very premature baby (like 5" shorter than his brothers still) and being so close to not qualifying for this draft. I'm hopeful those things just hid the production that comes from being an elite talent in his draft year, but it could still be a bit of a hot streak that won't sustain.
I think with the high floor, he will translate to at least a complimentary top 6 winger given who he'll play with if he's on one of those lines, I just don't see how a guy with good speed, tenacity, good offensive instincts for where to be and a very good release wouldn't succeed playing with Matthews-Marner/Tavares-Nylander. It would be a good story if he makes it too - "small kid from California defies the odds to become NHL star" I think is the kind of storyline that helps to grow the game in those non-traditional hockey markets
