I mean it's the national women's team and she's 14. That's pretty unreal. I hope she puts European women's hockey on the map.Followed up her performance with 2 primary assists and a shootout goal in a 3-2 win over Norway. 5 pts in 2 games for the national team.
It's possible. Remember, getting drafted by an NHL Team and playing are two very different terms. She may not play in the NHL ever, but it's possible a team takes a chance in Round 7.Is there even a sliver of a chance she gets drafted? Just curious
I can see her getting drafted for PR and marketing reasonsIt's possible. Remember, getting drafted by an NHL Team and playing are two very different terms. She may not play in the NHL ever, but it's possible a team takes a chance in Round 7.
No team would draft for marketing, even at 224. Easier to do so as a UDFA. Possible she's taken if she keeps this up, but she'd have to keep it up in the men's divisions as well.I can see her getting drafted for PR and marketing reasons
At this point - this is the only way I’d see it too.I can see her getting drafted for PR and marketing reasons
She turned 15 today. Made herself a nice birthday gift with 19 points in one match. LOLNo

Song got drafted for marketing, it wouldn’t be that crazy. No

5'8, 5'9 woman is small now?It is possible she gets drafted. She is small, of course. Best she'll grow is about 5'8, 5'9 if she's lucky. She could course out a career in Europe if she's the real deal. Play in some men's league, even in Slovakia. It's just too soon to say for sure what her future is. It's a wild card.
Yeah, but that'd still be small in a men's pro league. It would work a bit more in Europe where smaller players who struggle in NA do well.i would call 5 foot 7, 15 year old young woman tall, like really tall,
she is like 10 to 20 cm taller what average girl that age
looking at her team mates in Zilina
1 x 142 cm
6 x 150 cm and up
7 x 160 cm and up
only 3 women taller what she (180 cm, 19 yrs, 176 cm, 17 yrs, 175 cm, 26 yrs)
She is a womanYeah, but that'd still be small in a men's pro league. It would work a bit more in Europe where smaller players who struggle in NA do well.
I'm saying if she was to play in a men's league. I made this thread I know she's a woman lol.She is a woman
When a girl scores 19 PTS against grown women, you start to wonder if she's too good to play against women.People really don't seem to understand the difference between the best men and women in the sport
Take the best women, ever to play, at any age, ever, and she would not be able to keep up with a CHL team. When a girl scores 19 PTS against grown women, you start to wonder if she's too good to play against women.
Yeah, but also there's a difference between an NHL pick and an NHL player. Say she keeps it up, some team could take her at Pick 224 even. Doesn't mean she'd ever play.Take the best women, ever to play, at any age, ever, and she would not be able to keep up with a CHL team.
Is she going to be the best women player ever? Very possible. In order for keep up with pro men outside of Div 2/3 she will have to be the best women to ever play by an absolutely gigantic margin.
There is no possibility she is an NHL draft pick
19 points is outstanding, but there was another girl younger than her with 14 points. It's outstanding, but it's not good hockey.
