I don't think I saw a game at all last season, but the one prior (his exceptional extra year) I watched a few games, and I though he was the driver then. This season is more on par with what I expected after seeing him in those games. He had "it" imo. I'm no scout however...I'm going to wait until January or early February before making any definitive conclusions as to who should go 1OA. I will say this, however; while Misa has always played a strong game off the puck (not sure what that poster was thinking when he made the comment that it was a weakness of his), is a very good skater with very good puck skills, he never really drove his line and was more the recipient of the offensive work put in by others..... until this season. He is making everything happen out there now and of course if he keeps this up he will most certainly be in the mix for 1st overall. Still to early though and we will see how he does as the season grinds on.
It's most likely due to a hangover from last season, where he was good but not great. I don't think you will see him at the 4th or 5th slot that much longer. I personally like him better than Martone and just behind Hagens.I admit I have never seen him play but looking at the numbers he seems to be shredding the OHL, I am curious to why he is only 4th or 5th in most mocks....
Again just looking at the numbers I think I want him 2nd for The Habs. It's most likely due to a hangover from last season, where he was good but not great. I don't think you will see him at the 4th or 5th slot that much longer. I personally like him better than Martone and just behind Hagens.
23 goals, 46 points in 26 games...
Not being a dork

Was just looking over his stats and those extra 3 games would put him around 52 points.
Only 5 on PP and 2 SH. U
would be awesome to see all of Misa, Martone and Schaefer on the World Junior squad.I think he's insane. If there was only one other player than Hagens I'd like at #1 overall in 2025 I think it'd be him. Sees the ice very very well. Often a step ahead of everyone else.
Questions whether he'll be a C at the NHL level are always tough to answer at this age. Just because he's capable doesn't necessarily mean it's probable. The mullet really pulls it all together for me and is the final piece of the puzzle. Hope to see him and Parekh light it up together at the WJCs.
