Other teams superstar forwards:

New Jersey: Jack Hughes/Bratt

Dallas: Robertson
Edmonton: McDrai
Kings: Kopitar

Buffalo: Thompson
Utah: Keller
San Jose: Celebrini (in the making)
Nashville: Forsberg/Stamkos

That’s 24 teams out of 31 (excluding Habs) that have at least a PPG player/elite to superstar player.

Montreal’s last PPG player was Alex Kovalev in 2009-2010. That’s 14-15 years ago now. So yes, us fans are pretty excited for Demidov’s homecoming in Montreal. He will come with a lot of expectations I’m sure, but will succeed in bringing excitement back to the city.

We deserve a PPG player that’s skilled and can be an impact player in the league. Other than a goalie 🥲

But, KHL goalies . . . not good.

Russian goalies are pretty good, just look around the NHL.

we easely forget that we have 24 cups and everyone else is jealous bout it

How many Cups was that? 24 you said? I guess it needed repeating in case anyone forgot.

Yeah they must be so jealous that everybody under the age of 30 is just walking around town having only seen garbage teams in their whole lifetimes.

Could be worse. Could be a town where everyone under the age of 60 has never seen their team in a Stanley Cup Finals game. Black & White memories bud, black & white memories.

Is he generational now? Asking for some habs fans that are in denial
I mean

Let's define generational for this era

Multiple 120 plus seasons?

I'd love too

But besides McDavid these was no prospect I would have labeled generational in the past 10 years, call me picky
