It was a nice goal but come on, embarrassing D and brutal goaltending.
You do know that for every insane goal...chances are you could ALSO talk about embarassing D and bad goaltending?

Thing is...the 2 guys in question here are Nesterov and Prosvetov. Who has seen the NHL. Prosvetov with a .925 average this year. And Nesterov with a very good season on his own.

He's the complete package.

He could play center too. He has the vision and the defensive acumen.

If not, he's gonna be in Kucherov/Kaprisov kinda winger territory.
And he’ll be joining a team at the end of a rebuild, that as a result, already has some pretty top six good forwards, and not at the beginning (which is much harder mentally). Just ask Connor Bedard.

I remember watching him last season and questioning his straight line speed. Seeing him play in the KHL makes ne realize he's just one of those guys that is much faster than he looks. He seems to have everything, just needs to get stronger which will come with time, he looks big already. Very exciting prospect

Pretty sure he is also one of the fastest skater on record from his team.

Updated p/60 according to another user on habs board, (sorry forgot name but thank you) is 3.96

Madness.

The prodigy he is

Another 2 goals an assist for young Demidov...man its going to fun being a Montreal Canadiens fan again...gotta try to watch some SKA games again now that they have been playing the Youngster more and more

Ironically, Montreal could've had all 3.
That's like having 3 of the top 10 future players in the league as Montreal's core. Crazy.

I can understand why that's difficult to deal with.

It will always be the one error of Kent Hughes

At least, we're going to have the two better players
