Can you post proof of all these things you claim?
Because I think the consensus has been that:
A. Michkov is not 2-3 tiers above Demidov, but most have generally thought he was ahead of him.
B. Michkov is not the best Russian prospect ever. Most generally have thought that he's probably the best since Ovechkin and Malkin.
C. Demidov is allowed to have a better statistical season (even then it's debatable, as you've seen the arguments in this thread devolve from). Sometimes MacKinnon or Draisaitl or Matthews will have a better season than McDavid. Multiple players are allowed to be good at once. Best prospect doesn't have to equal better D+1 season, if it's even granted that Demidov has had the better D+1 (not sure everyone has agreed there, but it's a fair statement to suggest he might've).
The insistence to tear down Michkov is so unneeded. You don't see anyone tearing down Demidov. More than anything, it gives Habs fans a bad rep due to the actions of a few.
