F Ivan Demidov (2024, 5th, MTL) Part 2

That’s funny, because I posted the exact definition of the word for you, and you are still unable to comprehend it, apparently.

Complexion: the general aspect or character of something.

Adding a high-profile rookie definitely changes the “general aspect or character” of the team. There is nothing in the definition of the word that indicates any extent or level of change or anything like that; that’s an entirely different thing.

The word was used fairly and correctly. It’s your interpretation and/or understanding of it that is flawed.

Unbelievable how I’ve had to spoon-feed this to you, yet you still don’t understand it.
Fella just quit while you are ahead. You dont understand context and application. Now everyone here knows... Hope you are more capable in the day to day world than this.

I explained it to you plain as day. You’re just too proud to admit you were wrong. That’s why you haven’t touched the breakdown or the definition of the word, because you have nothing to argue on that front.

The original comment said the addition of Demidov “changes the complexion of our team for sure”.

Where in that did he specify the level of change or use words like “substantial” or “impact”? You added those yourself after the fact because you wanted that to be the narrative so you could criticize it.

I know you will continue to either deflect or avoid answering the above question because you can’t without admitting you were wrong here.

Have a nice day, and I hope you learned something 😀

Again look in the mirror just like our discussion last night. You projected your own faults and claimed they were someone elses (calling me a homer when talking about a player on a team I dont cheer for while defending your own). Its a wild phenomenon. You are really struggling with reality.

You continue to yammer without actually backing up anything you’ve claimed. I’m not even sure if you’re actually reading the responses here because you’ve quoted me within seconds several times before I could clean up typos. That would make a lot of sense actually.

Excited to see how he does, but I'd only caution that he's never lived a day in his life in NA or played a game in the NHL.

I'm sure he'll do well relatively soon, but dropping him into a playoff race (likely the playoffs) will be difficult. He can probably play a regular shift, but I wouldn't be so sure that he'll be any sort of difference maker right away.
Not right away . . . but certainly by his second game.

Would you argue that Makar didn’t change the Avs Defense his first playoffs?
No I wouldn’t. He obviously did: 6 points in 10 games, +3, 17:22 ATOI per game, positive takeaway/giveaway differential. Your point, and what this has to do with Demidov? (I’ve made no predictions regarding Demidov)

Good thing people don’t trust your opinion
