Saturday vs leafs and he is eligible for playoffs
Fantastic news. Give the kid credit for sticking to his guns under what must have been a lot of pressure to extend with SKA.

More importantly, he speaks the universal language of sharp hockey. His english and charisma/confidence in english is much better than Ovi/Malkin/Michkovs were coming into the league.
He's surprisingly sharp in english , showed it in his interviews and is also taking lessons to learn english and french , it won't be a problem integrating in the group
Demidov is bigger, stronger, faster and as skilled as Hutson and plays a less demanding position. He should quickly become as impactful a player as the now almost certain Calder Cup winner. We wouldn't want him to learn how to constantly be a loser in the first round though.

Is he faster than Hutson which has hit so 99% on speed charts this yearDemidov is bigger, stronger, faster and as skilled as Hutson and plays a less demanding position. He should quickly become as impactful a player as the now almost certain Calder Cup winner.
Hughes said that he will play one or two games before the playoffs, so he might make his debut against Chicago next monday. When is he supposed to join the Habs? Will he get into any regular season games?
Nice! Will be great to see these two Original Sixers play each other with Levshunov and Demidov both in the game. Hopefully they both play very well and show the promise of what is to come for these two rebuilding clubs! ( with the caveat that Montreal is of course a couple years ahead in that department ).Hughes said that he will play one or two games before the playoffs, so he might make his debut against Chicago next monday.
You’re the one talking about Toronto lolDon’t you know? All roads lead to Toronto. At least Leafs’ fans think so.
The fact that both of these players are going to be on the same team is insanehe’s a better player than Hutson is anyone arguing otherwise

I beg to differHis english and charisma/confidence in english is much better than Ovi/Malkin/Michkovs were coming into the league.

All good, he looks like Alex Kovalev’s son anyway, the Montreal finest Alex Kovalev, that isRotenberg said he's expecting him to have to same impact as Panarin in his 1st year. Max Talbot (who also played in the KHL) is expecting him to have a similar impact as Malkin. Talk about high expectations on the guy. To top it all, he will play in the most demanding hockey town. This will be quite entertaining for sure
Can't wait to watch monday's hockey game at the Bell center.
LOL it’s always the same people complaining about Toronto that can’t stop talking about them.
This is a thread about Demidov, can we stay on topic please?
You literally tried to brag about Toronto in a Montreal prospects thread. If you didn’t know what was coming then I don’t know what to tell you.Playing against Toronto will be great for his development since he can learn from a better opponent that has made the playoffs 9 seasons in a row.
I could see similar impact to Panarin. He was almost PPG. If put in the right place in the lineup I could see it. Fav for next year's calderRotenberg said he's expecting him to have to same impact as Panarin in his 1st year. If we can get him a great center to play with him and Laine, that line could be absolutely nasty next yearI could see similar impact to Panarin. He was almost PPG. If put in the right place in the lineup I could see it. Fav for next year's calder
What year is he expected to break Ovi’s record??![]()
It’s unbelievable. Montreal has put together a really fun and skilled group. I’m v excited to watch Demidov. I think he will be a top winger in this league within a 3-4 years. There will be an adjustment period. The fact that both of these players are going to be on the same team is insane
That dude tries to derail and troll every habs related threads but keep saying to stay on topic, I'll just keep it at that. You literally tried to brag about Toronto in a Montreal prospects thread. If you didn’t know what was coming then I don’t know what to tell you.
For the record I’m not a Habs fan.
