By the way, I'm not sure if there are such successful long-term position swaps, but I know how a player went from being a winger to a RD and now he plays in the NHL.

What are your thoughts Chain @Chainshot ? You see alot of him, can he turn into a effective NHL'er ie De Brincat ? or will his size/frame hold him back ?

Burns was original a dman. He was converted to a winger in the OHL. And same with Byfuglien.

Considering all the time he lost D+1 his development is impressive. I've always been salty about the pick but I'd say he's already surpassed my low expectations.
