Yeah, so far (through 5 games) Minten has:
- 4 points not involving Stankoven (3 ES, 1 PP)
- 6 points involving Stankoven (1 ES, 5 PP)

Still doing well with 4 points in 5 games excluding his points with Stankoven, but his number are definitely boosted by playing on Kamloops' dominant PP1, and Stankoven is a big part of why it dominates. Obviously Minten is contributing to that PP too, but his numbers do need to be taken with a grain of salt.

Hilarious to see how the perception changed in this thread once the player was drafted by a certain team.

Back to back hat-tricks for Minten while Stankoven and Bankier are away from the team (at WJHC). Interesting.

Fraser PPG is 1.46.
If he played 31 games like most players he would be top 8 in WHL scoring not #39 playing 24 games.

Because if there’s anything the sports media and community in Canada has, it’s a bias against the Leafs…
I understand that reading is difficult but what I said what 'in this thread;'. I did not mention the media.

Unless of course you believe PostBradMalone from HFBoards is part of the media.

Seems like his pace has slowed down quite a bit in 2023, but to people who watch the Blazers- How has he looked?
He didn't get too many ice time after Stankoven back. Powerplay expert, great shot, but he's not on the spot that was easiest to score. Back to back hat trick is impressive.

The Leaf brigade went quiet when his production came back down to earth. Crazy how that works

Back down to earth? His production increased when Stankoven was at the WJC. Then when he returned, he got secondary usage and his production came back down. What's so crazy about that?
Some people have nothing better to do on a Sunday morning than antagonize Leaf fans on a message board for attention...can you imagine?

Surprised this hasn't been bumped up yet. Minten is getting rave reviews all camp and Keefe today said there's a chance he makes the team. Nylander has shifted back to the RW for the last few preseason games with Minten centering the 3rd line.
What's that say about the Leafs depth? Good for him if he makes it. I personally think he'll get 9 games and be sent back, play in World Juniors, then be dealt at the trade deadline

Like they just said on the broadcast, it helps him a lot becaue he’s physically ready at over 200lbs. He’s done well this preseason. Hasn’t been out of place at all. We’re not seeing high-end type of flashes, but if he can contribute in the bottom 6, why not?? They need players like Minton to make it early.
