I never said I I did not Bedard..but anyone who says he is a more complete player in alklzones than Celebrini is is insane.
Unlike Cole Eiserman who is just a shooter and nothing else...Bedard does more things in his gamectgan tgevonectrick pony Eiserman..Yes..I also believe Bedard will be a better points getter once he has some talented wingers to play on his line..

But I do believe that IF Celebrini had the same lack of talent on his wings than played with Bedard on his shifts,he (Celebrini) woukl make even klutz like them more effective than Bedard was able to.

But given we will not win the #1via lottery 2 consecutive drafts,we shall never find out

But I do not hate Bedard..You have to admire what he did given so little help on his wings....and being the attention of focused checking on him by the opps.. Celebrini though is a a more well rounded player overc3 zones. With and certainlycwithoutvthevpuck.Hisxsoeedcisxfaster tgan Brdardxand more consistent over many shits. BEDARD is capable on the instant strike but I just do not see tge consistency bothvwats that Celebrini brings.

This does not mean Cekebrini will outscore Bedard..Just thatt Bedard needsxto improve in sonexareas...still..but Cekebrini is already "there" in more areas ofvthe game.

But no..I do not hate Bedard...He just has more to do to get better all over the ice if he can.

I still think Bedard will get 100+ guy if Hawks get him sonexactual talent o the wings...but when he does that he might be only a +20 to +25 guy ...no v a +50 unless hisxwibgers are Hossa -lije both ways.

Seriously think there should be questions to his coach at Michigan about his usage. TJ Hughes centers the 2nd line and plays PP1. Nazar should definitely be getting more usage.
Based on the highlights, Nazar was between Brindley and McGroarty at 5x5. Can't say for sure since I had no interest in Stonehenge v Michiga. Nazar with 2g 3a with a minute left in a blowout.

Yeah he was. Maybe their coach realized he was a f***ing idiot

5 point night with 2 goals and 3 apples. Yes it was against Stonehill (whatever that is), but a nice start to the 2nd half of the season coming off a strong WJC. Oliver Moore with a goal and Rinzel with a pair of apples was a nice return to college games for them as well.

The official scorer corrected the record - Rinzel with 3 assists and the 3rd assist was a beauty. It was a 100+ foot pass from behind his goal line right on the money to send his teammate in alone against the goalie.

I really like the progress Rinzel has made from the beginning of the season. He may end up being our best d-man in a couple years.

I think most will say that Rinzel seemed to be a reach in the 1st, but his size, skating and skill are all on display. He may be on the 5 year plan, like I was in college:).....but he's looking like a pretty darn good pick at this point......I see the KD drafting plan and its starting to take shape.

Four year plan

Year 1 is his post-draft year in the USHL
Year 2 is this season as a freshman at Minnesota
Year 3 as a sophmore
Year 4 with a full season in Rockford

I get it, you don’t like Bedard. You’ve made it obvious. We are all in for 10/15 years of you bashing any error or misplay just as you did with Kane.
Defending, he will never be a standout and many say he doesn’t try hard. I’ll say from our blue line to the opponents net the puck is on his stick 3/4 of the time. You probably wouldn’t realize it but that expends a lot of energy.
Faceoffs. Give it some time. The kid is strong but (speaking in general) you can’t compare an 18 yr old boys muscles to a grown man’s. Give him a tutor and combined with his strength and low center of gravity I’d put my money on him being somewhat dominant at faceoffs.
Questioning his attacking up the center of the ice raises questions of your hockey IQ. Defender can send guys at him because he has no options. Look at the “jaw breaker” play, Smith was the 2nd opponent to play him within 2 seconds and a 3rd guy is right there as well. If he had 1st liner level wingers there would be 2 open guys to feed before the hit. He’s playing on a line with a 3rd and a 4th liner and always vs the oppositions best.

He doesn't like "small" or short forwards, especially centers, period.

He had a couple more assists tonight - 7 points in the 2 games since winning gold in the WJC.
Yeah I try and not pay attention to these blow out games against bad competition. Its good he picked up points though, never a negative.

They play Trey Augustine, Levshunov, and Isaac Howard next weekend. I look forward to that.

The 2a he got were late into 3rd period on goal 6 and 7 by Michigan on PP goals after Michigan had built a 5-1 lead ...so rather cosmetic adding to what was a blowout already agaibst Stonehill ranked #64 th in NCAA Div 1 Mens Hockey ...so hardly anything to get excited about ...not as of he was a keycstar for them this game...nice he padded his stats with 2points ...but hadly difference-maker star proving it vs. a top team by scoring big early to help get the big lead ..2 or 3 points out of first 5 goals...sonething like that ...rather than meaningless assists of 6th and 7th goals in such a blowout...

After the usual suspects (Brindley ,T J.Hughes ,McGrioarty and Duke went big in helpingbpike up that 5-1lead,it seemed Michigan eased off on those later only put Nazar on them with lesser role guys to give them a chance to pad their stats...So Estapa (only goals 3 and 4 for him on the season to date) gets both these later cosmetic padding goals assisted by Nazar (1 primary 2 secondary)...

So I an not getting starry -eyed on Nazar from this..

What did Davidson think of Frank Nazar at the World Junior Championship and could Nazar join the Blackhawks after his season?

Davidson watched Nazar in person at the world juniors. Like everyone else who saw him, Davidson came away impressed.

“I thought Frank was excellent at world juniors, taking charge and playmaking and creating offense,” Davidson said. “I thought he was fantastic and playing fast and playing aggressive. Again, I think he was one of the best players in the tournament.”

Davidson wasn’t sure what was in store for Nazar after the season.

“As far as moving forward, those will be conversations that we’ll have,” Davidson said. “We don’t have any mapped out definitive plan on what the end of his season looks like or future look like, but I think those are conversations we’ll probably have over the next month or two.”

I don't know what would happen if he decides to go pro but would he leave Michigan and the college life to likely play in the minors for a season?
