I think they are the same level of player. 6 of one, half dozen of the other. You cannot go wrong with having either player.
Thats fine. I disagree and think Ryan Leonard is a better prospect. The chance at Michkov was enticing as well.

Ran into Luca and Adam Fantilli in Columbus and talked briefly about Nazar. They said that he was the most “locked in” guy at Michigan. He didn’t go out after games, but rather back to the dorm. Focused on getting better and rehabbing, “he knows what he wants.” I don’t know the kid personally, but that kind of surprised me (in a good way).

He seems to be back to where he was before his injury, at least in the small summer showings I’ve seen thus far. Should be 1C next year at Michigan with McGroaty and Brindley on the wings, and with Cooley gone UM should be the favorite in the B1G, as well as the NCAA tourney.

Happy to see him get back on track, as he’s one of my favorite UM/USA players. Cheers.

From Chris Peters:

"Frank Nazar, C (Chicago Blackhawks): He ended the game with one assist, but Nazar was also a scoring chance machine. He routinely was able to get behind defenders and challenge goalies. He looks like he has his speed back and his anticipation skills are off the charts. Nazar looks more and more like a guy who can be part of this team after the questions surrounding his health have all but disappeared."

No necessarily - remember last season Fantilli was 1C and Hughes was 2C. When Nazar came back he played 3C. So Fantilli is gone but Hughes is still there and I believe he's an upper classman so he might push Nazar down to 2C - at least to start the season. Either way Frank will have plenty of opportunity to play big meaningful minutes next season.

Top end speed is up in the air, but I think he accelerates even quicker than Moore. Longer strides and just seems to gobble up ice in front of him

How does Bedard-Nazar-Moore down the middle for 10 years sound?
Consider adding Ryan Greene to that mix.
I think one of them ends up a winger.

Nazar reminds me so much of Point.
My preference would be to eventually move Bedard to wing. It's not that I don't see him as having success as a center but would prefer him to not having the responsibilities as a center. Let him be in attack mode.

Im Bedard 1C all day long. I wouldnt mind Moore turning into a Cirelli type speed defensive center and Nazar playing wing. They can leverage picks and free agency to find the big boys to fill in the rest.

Minnesota/Michigan games will be fun to watch this year with Moore and Nazar playing such big roles.

He can be in attack mode plenty as a C. Look at McDavid or Crosby. Or any other number of examples of 1Cs putting up great offensive numbers. Moving him to W makes no sense to me.

Nazar is a golden god and the non-believers will face his wrath see pfp
Not a non-beliver. Nobody knows what his injury actually was. Based on what he's doing this summer it was probably a minor surgery. The weird thing is that they keep saying it was a hip injury and I have no idea why they would say that if it was actually a sports hernia.

Because a sports hernia occurs at the anterior hip/groin. This isn’t rocket appliances. They were being vague and saying the general area of the body.
