I hope he gets some powerplay time, he definitely deserves it over many overaged bums in lineup! He is fantastic!
This aged badly.idk man, Kulich is seriously underrated as a prospect he is so f***ing good, but Necas dad had friends from higher places, otherwise Kulich would be filthy famous in media right now. Kulich is better than Sale and is 200 f***ing times better than Necas at his age.
Kind of like Sha-la or Sha-luh (I think)How do you pronounce his last name? SA-LAY? Does it have that "SH" sound like Miro Satan? SHA-LAY?
I'm not a good English speaker. But I will try to explain it simply. In Czech it's Šalé. So there is a so-called long é at the end, so phonetically it is pronounced a little longer than a regular e. So something like Sha-le.e. I put the dot there for the reason that it would not be tempting to pronounce ee like in the word cheeses. Just more like two separate e's in a row..How do you pronounce his last name? SA-LAY? Does it have that "SH" sound like Miro Satan? SHA-LAY?
This statement was stupid. Sale was already seen as an elite talent at this point. This aged badly.
Correct pronunciation:
If that is the reason, then Kometa staff sucks, but everybody knows that anyway lol. They also signed Tomi Sallinen yesterday. Probably has little to do with why Sale isn't playing today but his competition for possible PP time and such got even stiffer.
Frankly, I once again don't at all understand why so many people have their panties in a twist about Sale's handling.
Michkov isn't playing at all, Dvorsky played a few games as 3C, was -3 and got sent down to the kids' league, Halttunen is 7th D for HIFK, Leo Carlsson is playing 13-14 minutes as a D and just got scratched last game. But somehow it's Kometa's staff that sucks...
Comparatively, he is in one of the best if not THE best situations for a 2023 draftee in Europe. Get a grip people, this is real life, not a farming simulator.
And stop acting like dominating the CHL actually does something for top prospect's dEVel0pMeNT. We've seen plenty of that with Lafrenieres, Byfields and Turcottes of this world. It's good for covering up their actual flaws due to playing him against vastly inferior competition.
Yeah nevermind that part, it's like the pileup of mix-ups. The point still stands though.Leo Carlsson a D? Scratched? What?
Also, Michkov has been hurt and isn't playing. He started in the VHL today.Leo Carlsson a D? Scratched? What?
He started in the KHL 3 days ago and was on the ice for literally 2 minutes. And then got sent down. More importantly, even THAT is fairly usual for a Russian prospect. Also, Michkov has been hurt and isn't playing. He started in the VHL today.
It's the 7th round and his minutes have gradually decreased... he's not touched a special team in 5 games. It's possible his minutes go up and he gets real opportunity on the PP but I'm getting pretty skeptical.Lots of people don't realize that playing pro hockey in Europe as a teenage kid is pretty difficult. The season also JUST started.
Good thing he is not a top 5 draft pick then.View attachment 590264
Here are his last 5 games... top being the most recent. Under 13 minutes and no special teams after 7 rounds.
He missed round 6 and I'm starting to think that was a healthy scratch as I haven't heard a different reason.
This is not how you develop a top 5 draft pick.
