2.5 is a little steep for him, thought it was going to be around 2.

Nice player to have though.

Kind of makes me think they see him as more than a 4C though.

With the projected cap rise in a few years 2.5 won't seem like too much. Basically an excellent 4C, something the leafs haven't had for ages before him so I get locking him down for 4 more years

Little more than I figured. He's only 28 so not terrible. In a couple years this is nothing with the cap going up and he can be traded but I think it should work out overall.

They need to free up salary. Muzzin is going LTIR plus Murray could be gone.

Still trades to be made etc.

2 million dollar player but I am ok with him. But 2.5 still a bit too much
Stepped up during playoffs. Can't ask for more than a 4th center

But figured he would take less to get terms. But Acciari is where we should have focused first
Acciari is going to demand 3 million. Was hoping to get him for 2.5 a year

Out of all our pending UFA’s, Kampf was one of the ones I wouldn’t mind coming back. A little higher than I’d have hoped for at 2.5 but hopefully in years 2+ of that contract it’ll be a good deal with the salary cap jumping up.
