He's improved his skillset a lot over the last two seasons. Last year he was generating in part because he was just so tenacious, but he's scored some beautiful goals this season, showing off a soft pair of hands.Does this guy have enough skill to be an nhl top 6er or will he end up being a tweener?
He was pretty hyped, he went 3OA in the WHL draft, behind Jackson Smith, and Gavin McKenna. Why didn’t he have more hype coming out of minor hockey ?
He was pretty "hyped" but McKenna was floating around to take most of the fanfare. Why didn’t he have more hype coming out of minor hockey ?
Are you sure? He seems like exactly the type that may be top 6/9 or bust. Small and not an amazing skater. Maybe his compete level is there, but 5’10 and an iffy skater is still a big limitation, even with the compete level. His attitude and character will make him an NHL'er. He might not be a top 6 guy but he will find a role.
Your concerns are valid, but I think he'll bring enough offence to make it.Are you sure? He seems like exactly the type that may be top 6/9 or bust. Small and not an amazing skater. Maybe his compete level is there, but 5’10 and an iffy skater is still a big limitation, even with the compete level.
2G, 1A tonight. Putting up big numbers in the 2nd half of the season. I can see him move into the teens in terms of drafting.
