The Nucks would be nuts if they pass on this guy in their backyard. This kid is as hard nosed as they come. Prince George usually doesn't produce soft players.

I like Schmidt alot but the canucks have to pick the BPA even if Schmidt is available.

Cam Schmidt is a Canes-core prospect, considering that they like going BPA in the draft and finding value in undersized guys.

Maybe I think he will score goals in the NHL just not sure how high his ceiling will be and how plausible it is and I'm a huge fan.

His team mate Aaron Obobaifo was off to a great start in hi draft year but has been injured, i also do wonder when he gets drafted as he projects with a good floor in the NHL, assuming no long term injury impacts.
