He's the top point getter on the team. Literally drives most of the offense. Pretty limited offense on the team, with Chib hurt. Whatever line Lambo is on is the #1 line.I'm wondering if the org is getting a bit frustrated with Lambert. They have been moving him all throughout the lineup the last number or weeks. He's now playing wing on the third line with a couple grinders in King and Suess. Maybe this is their idea of trying to get him to up his play in the tough areas.
At the game. It's surprising to me the Moose aren't using any of our forward prospects on the PK. Zhilkin and Wagner if they make it will make it as depth forwards. Both should be getting PK reps imo.
Which Moose player would you say is best suited to be the 15th forward right now? How does Salomonsson look on the PK?
Nice to see Wagner adapting.
Moose tied with Wild for 2nd worst in the league behind Isles farm team, even with the improved play. Most guys now are playing for contract extensions, or to get the attention of the Jets brass for depth purposes in the playoffs. Seems like the development angle is a wash.
How was Driedger?
I wonder if Salomonsson gets an NHL game or two at the end of the season. Then my mind wanders, and I think, can he play his off-side well enough to beat out Stanley, Fleury or Miller on the 3rd pair left side.Bauer taking on the leagues toughest. Not an easy way to earn a living. That fight was as old school as it gets.
Glad to see Salomonsson playing well.
Yes. He’s really stepped it up as of lately. Zhilkin has also been quite noticeable in good way. Needs to start racking up some points though. He's having a nice second half to the year. We are going to need a couple of Wagner, Zhilkin, He, Levis, Julien to turn into good depth players.
So far I'm really liking what I see from Wagner. I think he has all the tools to be a solid 3rd line winger if all goes well.
