I liked his moves when he stickhandled his way among 3 Canucks, pinning himself against the boards and the blueline. It was a fancy turnover, for sure.

Blankenburg is a very good skater and uses that to his advantage. A discount Ryan Ellis, I suppose. (Not saying he has Ellis' offensive chops.)
Stastney is an elite skater. He looks like he's levitating out there at times.

I don't hate Blankenburg. As the roster is constructed now, he'll fill a hole for a year or two then he'll exit his "prime" and become expendable again. I'll root for him while he's here, hope he exceeds my expectations.
