Seems like these have slippery gone to members only now after being free. Maybe Chad needs to pay off his vacation rather than get more exposure... but no thanks.

I don't think so.

If you are talking about YouTube, Chad just seems inconsistent with posting them to YT as opposed to the usual podcast outlets like Spotify.

Listened to the first few minutes on the drive to work today. It occurred to me just how sad this franchise has become. The Sabres were once an organization that could attract Punch Imlach, Scotty Bowman, John Muckler. At the beginning of the Pegula-era they could credibly pursue Babcock (before we knew…) and then pivot to the next high-profile coach available in Bylsma (he was coveted then). Today, nobody believes that a high-profile executive like Shanahan or Blake would even consider Buffalo.

At the beginning of the Pegula-era they could credibly pursue Babcock (before we knew…) and then pivot to the next high-profile coach available in Bylsma (he was coveted then). Today, nobody believes that a high-profile executive like Shanahan or Blake would even consider Buffalo.

It's not even that they won't consider Buffalo, Terry won't even consider a position that Shanahan would be interested in (POHO) or moving on from Adams to create a job for Blake.

Wasn't Bylsma out of the league a year at that point? Not sure Coveted would be the right term to use.

Chad thinks Dudley (FL) could be the front runner for the SA, but that the more time that goes by the less of a impact he would have.

I would be happy with it (or Jarmo) but the cynic in me thinks would he really leave that situation ?? You might really have to pay him and make him a VP.

Why would anyone want to take a job as a glorified babysitter for a lame duck GM in way over his head? Even if the thinking would be you'd be next in line when Kevyn gets sacked in April why would you want to work for an organization this stupid and incompetent?

As other have said, it’s a job that ostensibly could pretty easily turn into a GM job if/when Kevyn is finally removed. If you’re itching to become a GM again and don’t have other options, it could be appealing.

Jarmo is the only one who really fits that criteria, maybe Burke too. Dudley has no desire to be a GM so I don’t see any way in hell he takes the gig. Chad is dreaming.
