I doubt, i really do, i doubt whether your being serious or are just messing around. If matthews had mcdavids skating(lol that's nearly impossible), i'd call matthews generational and on a level above sid, but he doesn't and cant get that level of skating, it will be the main factor that will seperate him and mcdavid

Lmao right before that Czech goal, I was thinking "I haven't noticed Couturier much, I'm sure he's doing a good job defensively" and then he slips on that goal.
 
Haven't been able to watch but how is the game? Is one team dominating or is it even? How does the McDavid line look?
 
Eichel is really good in space, problem is there's not much of that here.

He had a nice feed moments earlier that set McDavid and Gaudreau up on that 2 on 1 seconds earlier.

Great shift there from him.

This blueline really needs to get it together when the games that matter start.
 
NA team finally playing with some urgency, but 2 fluky/bad goals might be too much to overcome. Gaudreau and McDavid actually clicking a bit their last couple shifts together.
 
I know I'm late but when Polak took a run at McDavid, someone's gotta get their gloves off. Kudos to Matthews for throwing the cross check at his future teammate, but there's gotta be more of a response there. That's your captain.
 
Has McDavid done anything today? unable to watch today and tbh he hasn't wow'd me these games unfortunately

I can kind of get it if it's the same team but...

I thought that this Finnish commentator is pretty terrible but at least he knows how to look at numbers.

Heard him call Matthews, Mackinnon as well.

Nothing beats when he mistook Polak with Rielly. Even after Rielly scored a goal he didn't realise that it was Rielly that scored and not polak.

He'll get that support from his NHL team when he's the captain. Wouldn't expect that out of a talented kid team. Not many guys on this team who have even been in an NHL fight.
