"Bouwmeester gets the puck back, can't get a shot away as Stana came out to knock it away"

"Ohhh what a play... ...what a play by Bouwmeester"

Way to not acknowledge that Stana is playing like a veteran.

Stana has a nice skill set and is developing nicely for a franchise that is not rushing him, but he still has consistency issues. World beater some nights, others.... not so much. Still a nice prospect, though. When NHL play resumes, Maxime Ouellet will probably back up Kolzig in the NHL, while Stana has signed up for the entire year with Södertälje Sportklub of the Swedish Elite League, regardless of whether or not there is any NHL play next season.

Nice timing, as Maxime Daigneault is ready to graduate to the AHL Portland and will need starts. Crowded nets for the Capitals.

...i'd rank him ahead of Ouellet right now.
Isnt that a pretty lofty statement? This is the same Ouellett that was once the best goalie prospect in the game. As soon as someone gives him a freakin chance, he'll be awsome, but hopefully he'll say more time with the Caps next year.

Oh, I don't know. Ouellet had 52 GP and a 1.99 GAA with the Portland Pirates last season, while Stana had 28 GP and a 1.68 GAA, also with the Pirates.

Stana had a great year, but that isn't to say that Ouellet was bad by any means. The goalie pipeline is simply in pretty good shape. Daigneault is a nice prospect in his own right, though still young. With some luck, all three will get decent ice time next year.

Who had the assists?

Also, Thornton-Heatley have a lot of chemistry..
