Luongo's team in front of him is too good. He needs an average of 20 shots a period to excel.
If Luongo wants that, then he should have been German ( No offence to the German team, but compared to the other seven teams, the defence is not that good.)

He played like a man possessed at the World Championships a few months ago. Tonight's just one of those nights, I guess.

The U.S. sounds like it's getting it's transition game going. Rolston seems to be on the ice alot, even serving as a point man on the PP, which he'll probably do with the Wild. Has anyone noticed the new Reebok hockey equipment? Several players on both sides whould be wearing it.

Theodore in nets for 3rd period please. At least he's playing next game.

Theo isn't dressed tonight. Theo and Roberto are going to be dressed on Wednesday.

Anyone watching on LeafTV have a review of DiPietro so far? Radio sounds like he's playing damn well.

Like I sai dearlier. It's all about momentum, and Canada's won't be very high if they can't perform in pre-tournament games.
I agree. To start off the exhibition games with a loss can hurt their morale.

Well, it means one thing: Luongo won't start, that's for sure.

correction:

it only "doesn't matter" if Canada ends up losing the game.

If Canada comes back to win, it's "the first step to winning the World Cup" ;)
