Russia's top line played alright but the rest of their team looked like they were going through the motions. Malkin definitely looked like that. I bet they'll play a lot better against Canada in Pittsburgh

Russia looked horrendous today. No drive, no energy, horrific defensive errors and also a lot of thoughtless, dangerous passes by the offense. They might as well pack their bags if they go up against the best teams playing like this.

They show the Finn-Swe game during the intermissions of this game and so you are expecting them to go to that game with this one over and what do they put on?...."gotta see it" some dinky feel good show based on a potpouri of different sports subjects, none of them important.

The Czechs looked good today, much better than Russia imo. They kept the pressure on, forechecked and didn't allow Russia to easily enter the zone or to create offense. Russia looked like they were sleeping throughout the whole match.

I was at the game. I wonder if the Russians knew they were supposed to be playing hockey today. Awful. Than God it went to overtime and we got to see some nice puck possession. Ovechkin is not in shape. Kuznetsov showed some signs of life.

Yeah, and before there was a missed call against Kuznetzov or Kucherov (don't remember), that should be 2 min. But it actually doesn't matter. We played like ****, so even if we had won, it still would have been a game you should forget about as soon as possible.
