For the powerplay, the problem for Finland is so obvious. First they need to start feeding Laine more, he has had just one one timer and that pass from Vatman was slow and spinning like Kukkonen with Ovechkin. It's just too good to have Laine as a weapon there, you must use it.

Yeah. It might just be a mental thing that will be soon fixed. He'll get used to NHL players soon enough. But he was bit timid and shy taking contact.

Refereeing has been pretty lopsided so far and the Swedes seem to be getting a bit irritated by it. Rightfully so in my opinion.

I can't agree with Laine having been bad. He has actually been pretty good. even if he did miss that shot. Vatanen has been the worst of the Finns in my opinion.

OEL is such a stud.

Definitely, unfair refereeing. Blaming the refs is one of the worst things I know in hockey but in this case it's justified.

Laine's been good as a playmaker, he knows Sweden expects him to shoot. Laine hasn't been at his normal level maybe, but people seem to judge his game based on how his shots are looking.

Yeah. Barkov creates quality chances at great percentage and makes almost no mistakes.

He's been good. Few amazing passes. You can tell he's kind of half-assing it. His acceleration and skating is not as strong as it can be. Still above most. But hasn't really made Finns look stupid.

Overall, hes been good. But it's so hard to judge these veterans based on exhibition game.
