This is not good hockey, this is one team playing dirty and the referees not having a clue.

It's too bad, this happens in the tournament, that's one thing, but the first prelim game is no place for this dirty play.

lol get lost. Im not even from the US but that just dumb. Its not like Canada has been much better. Its called hockey. Kesler`s hit wasnt even that bad. 2 min boarding fine but game misconduct was dumb as hell. The hit on Giroux was just Giroux`s fault. Turns his back right before the hit. Sure USA plays physical but nothing wrong with that.

i hate the US style of play.

The U.S. play style is actually fast and skilled hockey. Look at the young players coming up and the makeup of the more recent teams. This style is definitely different. I don't mind it, though for this tournament.

Although it is entertaining, I felt this way as well. Everyone knows how these guys play against one another, no need to match them up for a pre-tourny game.

At least 3 matches between Canada and USA with this intensity...
