Pietrangelo pisses me off sometimes.

Subban and Letang make mistakes doing too much. Pietrangelo finds way to screw up while doing so little.

Pietrangelo = Bouwmeester 2.0. A decent top 2 defenseman but zero intensity, overrated for what he brings.

Amazing that Subban isn't in this tournament. Babcock's lefty-righty thing frustrates me. Subban takes calculated risks, Pietrangelo plays a mellow game, neither good or bad on most nights.

Watching the Weber hit again, I don't think Kesler initiating that hit was bad, the finishing of it was kind of ugly though. I think it's a bad move by Weber though and he's the type of guy who I bet knows that was somewhat on him

Some things for TC:

-they really could've used a quicker right handed shot in the mix (Letang or PK)
-Perry thrives on the small ice/chippy game. Play him cuz all these games will be chippy.
-Giroux needs a shooter on his line (Seguin/Stamkos)
-Use Toews as a checking line
-Hall would've been better than having Duchene or Tavares playing LW.

From the now locked GDT... as Buccigross stated, USA will need a Mike Richter like performance in this tournament, and through two periods it's exactly what Quick has given them. Hopefully it persists throughout the rest of the tournament.

As dirty as that hit was, I must admit, I really do enjoy the hatred that is brewing between both teams. I want to see the same level of intensity as the '96 World Cup.
