This style and quality of play obviously works against a team like Europe, but if this is how NA is going to play against Canada or US then they are going to have a really rough time.

Canada and USA will be able to handle the NA speed, and they might eat them alive physically and in the NA zone.

Seriously, people didn't think Europe could play this good? The skill and knowledge was always there. But when you only give a 70% and your opponent is giving a 100%, you are gonna look like crap.

NA has let up after leading with 3-4 goals, and are thus inviting the 70% giving Europeans into the game. That's all this is.

This is true. So many people here only look at rosters and think hockey is played on paper. It was obvious from the get-go that Team Europe has nothing to play for. I bet the players hate being forced to take part in this idiotic gimmick.
