Oshie fought against McQuaid last year. That's just how he is, he's not afraid to fight anyone.

USA needs to improve their gas tank if they want to play that grinding style of game. Canada was pretty much winning every puck battle and getting numerous odd man rushes in last two periods.

Canada has to be happy with the weekend's results - two games where they out-shot, out-chanced, and out-played the US. There was lots of PP and PK time to practice those game situations as well.

Great game by Canada tonight. The goalies were both good especially Crawford with the huge save. John Tavares is an absolute beast and played great tonight. Doughty was pretty good tonight too as well as Pietrangelo.

Bishop's bonehead decision to play the puck so far up the ice yesterday relegates him to #3 on the depth chart.
