Danton proving his worth in this league.

Almost has 500 games now, and over 200 points. We really should have kept him, and I was disappointed he wasn't coming back. Even more so when we can't seem to score goals.

He’s due for one of his 6 goals in 8 game hot streaks before going quiet for another 10 games. He is in his late 20s now and is the player he is at this point.

Probably like he felt on the opening night when the Caps blew us out 7-0? I don't know, I imagine he is feeling appreciated at some level. Sullivan is giving him solid minutes and he is still playing in the league. He's likely going to hit game 500 in the NHL this season. If he was still here with a start like this he'd be whipping boy #1.
