I was at the game and the were 2 million fans in attendance. Trump facts.

I hate political jabs in my hockey world. When I say hate, I don't mean hate, I mean HATE. Believe it or not, there are Kings fans of different political persuasions on this board who like posting about their shared investment in this team and who don't come to a hockey forum to get ridiculed. So for anyone who has an overwhelming urge to talk smack about any political viewpoint or person who doesn't fall in line with your political preference, kindly limit your politically-related smackdowns to writing "U R so Stoopid!" in your diary and let me have some peace and camaraderie in my hockey forum.

What are the chances Stoll comes back next season? I saw an article the other day that said he still hasn't given up playing.

I think maybe if we miss the playoffs, DL will deal Shore for a pick and possibly have Stoll take $1 million @ 1 year.

I think Stoll was always one of DL's favorite Kings, and I think he would have him back if he promised to get his game together on and off the ice.

Stoll's done. He had his last chance in the league, and bounced between two teams. Nobody takes a year off at 34 because nobody wants to sign you, and comes back at 35.

Shore's still going to be cheap next year, and the Kings will need cheap players.

I say 0%.

You could see his play decline over his tenure with the Kings. Unlike Richards, Stoll was always known as a guy who worked out hard off the ice. Just a function of getting old. It's a young mans sport. Out with the old, in with the new. I think Stoll's role with the org will be in player development or on TV alongside Sean OD.

I think Stoll said that if he doesn't get signed this season then that'll be it. Of course he'll still change his mind if someone comes calling next season but I doubt they will if no one does this year.

Shore >>> Stoll

Where I think Stoll is done him turning 35 gives some interesting options to teams if they decide to give him a try. Over 35 contacts that are for only 1 year can have bonuses on them. So they could sign him for league min and bonus him up to a higher amount if he could hit it. Making him contact really a zero risk on the cap unless he played well.

He could be a good locker room guy for Vegas though. Judge him if you want for the pool incident, but I'm pretty sure he jumped on that grenade at the benefit of a bunch of other Kings players who were present.

As much as I like Stoll, **** no. He's done in this league, and we already have a rec project in Seto.
