Well that was much needed. We finally hit 50 pts. Also MTL is up on the flames 4-0 with less than 6 minutes to go in the third which helps.

FSW is showing Game 6 2012. It kinda makes me sad since it makes me miss having a reliable right shot defenseman not named Doughty. God damn it, why did he have to be Russian?

Real nice bounce back win. Didn't like the 2 bs penalties that gave NJ the 5 on 3, but the Kings killed them both off and kept it 2-0. While the 3rd line did their job tonight, that first shift almost burned them if not for Budaj. That's the save you need to win games.

Hi guys, Leafs fan coming in peace, I just have a question. I was watching the highlights to the Kings/Devils game (congrats on the win) and I noticed that Chris Cuthbert was calling the game. I found this really odd as Cuthbert usually calls Leafs/Sens games on TSN or some games on NBC. Does anyone know why he was calling this game? Did he sign a deal with Fox Sports or?

Hey there, thanks. Our regular play-by-play guy, Bob Miller, has scaled back after his heart surgery last season. During road trips back East Bob stays home and so we are having 4 guys helping out and calling those games during those road trips. Cuthbert is one of the guys helping us out this season. Damn, that felt good.

Funny thing is they honestly played better in the Rangers game. I know results matter, but the Kings have genuinely PLAYED well lately, just haven't gotten the end we got tonight. Keep this up after the break with healthy personnel and things will be solid.

Man I hope Cuthbert does more Kings games in the future. I'm in favor of him taking over once Bob retires.
