Lacking absolutely but pretty silly to think they don’t care.

I think they just don't know how to win.

Matthews hasn't won a thing in his life as far as I can tell. No WJC, no club titles etc.

JT I think has WJC and I believe got injured for the Olympic medal. Maybe a WC?

Marner has the OHL / Memorial Cup

I don't think Nylander has won anything really either.

Disputing your erroneous assertion isn't changing the subject, you changing the subject from one player to an entire franchise is.
You didn't dispute anything I said, and I didn't make an erroneous assertion or change the subject. I just pointed out how absurd it was to compare us and our success to a team that had the best player in the history of the game and no cap. I don't know what you're on about, but it's unrelated.

One season has no predictive value in relation to a future season. That isn't how random events work. Professional sports is a series of random events.

if the same things keep happening 8 years in a row that’s proof enough. You can ignore it and blame randomness. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Sure you did. I pointed out the last cup winners didn't have that best ever player yet still won a cup. You didn't address that at all, dodged it like a champ, and then brought up the ridiculous Red Herring about the Oilers franchise.

I don't think you know what a red herring is lol. The original topic was literally about the Oilers franchise. Post #27. You can't just force people into the conversations you want. I don't care whether the last cup winners had the best ever player. Irrelevant.
