Ever notice that the rudest people on social media.....

Realtors and lawyers are all scum. Literally did 90% of the work on my own when I bought my house, realtor didn't do shit. Useless. "Influencers" don't really influence anyone with a brain, so I hate that term. More like the digital version of what we used to call attention whores 20 years ago. Desperate to be the center of attention. The only difference is they do it for money.

And 1 person from CA won the MM jackpot. Like they need more money. No one from my state ever wins it yet they're one of the biggest spenders on tickets. Stop buying that nonsense. Carrot dangled over your nose to leech you dry

I get it with realtors, but personally I've never had much of a problem with lawyers. In a way, lawyers mostly get their negative reputation based solely on what their job entails and really not much else. Also, lawyers are much more self aware of their general reputation and like to have fun with it.

I know a few lawyers and they've been nice and insist that their job is not nearly as glamorous as the media portrays it and most of the time it's boring paper work.

And while I've been lucky to have never experienced a bad realtor in person (yet), the arrogance they have on them is absolutely insane, at least from how many of them act online. I know it sounds silly to judge a group of people based on what they say on the internet, but the fact that they show zero effort to hide their careers while acting like complete asses online whereas most others at least keep their private lives secure when they do so. Hell, I've actually seen realtors online actually ADDRESS their careers WHILE talking shit.

The only people I've experienced with heads bigger than realtors are doctors. And I'll even give them a bit of a pass because their attitude is of a more nonchalant nature. Possibly given to them from the desensitization that results from their jobs over the years.

Well, just yesterday I'm browsing the comments section on IG again. Someone decided to talk shit about a specific group of people.

Sure enough, it was another realtor. Sweet Mother of Pearl! These guys act like they are the frat boys of the work force!

I'm overwhelmed how a career that demands such professionalism is occupied by such unprofessional children.

I give doctors and for that matter commercial pilots a break, they have people's lives depending on their actions every day. There's a reason why they are the way they are.

I do feel bad for lawyers who are forced to defend people who are clearly guilty though i.e. public defenders. It would really grind my conscience knowing that if I work hard and do a great job my reward is a criminal gets off the hook. It must be hard to get motivated on a daily basis.

They engage with a wide range of socio-economic demographics, while getting paid by commission. Having worked in a retail sales setting with a similar client population early in my employment years, the only thing that kept me from strangling several customers per workshift was my then-generous hourly wage.

.....are realtors?

I swear, all the people with public profiles that troll social media while showcasing their careers are involved in real estate.

And yet, people think lawyers are bad!
Reminds me of this thread from yesteryear

No surprise. It's still so bizarre to me. Like I said earlier, when you think of careers with big egos aside from celebrities, what usually comes to mind are doctors, lawyers, and cops. But their poor reputations are pretty much from simply what their job entails and/or the desensitization of their jobs. Realtors are just pricks for the sake of it, it seems.

For me it's "influencers" aka useless people.

Especially the prank bro types. They can dish it but can't take it. f*** them
The first time I knew of the term influencer was during covid. A large group of people craving attention, got on a plane and had a party and videotaped it.

Apparently these people were all influencers. I had no idea what that term meant at that time but all I could see was a bunch of idiots.

Fast forward to a couple years later and to me influencer just means no name idiot that will sell their reputation for $0.05.

When you download a game for free from the Google store and play it a few times, you'll get an ad and it'll feature some person whose name you will never know. And they're talking into the camera as if you know who they are and you trust them. And know that I'm not going to click on that ad because I don't take bad advice from strangers.
