Mackinnon is having a fantastic year, way better than Mcdavid.but Col hasn't been very good this year and just got into a playoff spot. Now imagine them without Makar. They'd be awful.

Most teams would still make the playoffs with either one of McDavid or Drai or Makar or Mackinnon added. Bouchard doesn't have that kind of game breaking affect on a team. He's good to have, not on their level. Not even close. The guys you mentioned, can get away with 10 subpar games in a season. Bouchard shows up maybe half of the season. Until he bring his compete level up, he's not there.

I would take another Ekholm over Bouchard but that's just me.

I've always said Bouchard makes good plays, but he makes WAAAAAY too many bad plays to be considered elite and make big $$$.

I was watching replays of the kings series last playoffs and I was surprised how many bad turnovers doughty had, considering he'd be considered an elite D by shittyshoes.

Dude Bouchard has been horrible this year. It's you guys not seeing the bad plays game after game after game.

He's not a bad player, but he's not in the elite category.

He makes decisions too slowly and teams have figured him out.
