Nah, absolutely great refereeing, more refs should react to shithousery like that. Not the refs fault Southgate thinks he's still coaching Middlesbrough.
Those ridiculous yellows for picking the wrong ball from a throw-in were pathetic. Not to mention that game should have been stopped for the Maguire head injury that Italy decided to play on for.

Don't have to worry about head injuries when there's nothing in the skull

England suffered a lot more than they had any business doing, but they get the 3 points. This version of Italy is going to have trouble against Ukraine and Macedonia (again).

Got a few injuries: Thomas Delaney, Yussuf Poulsen, Kasper Dolberg, Christian Eriksen.

Looking forward to see Jelert, Højlund, Hjulmand. I wish our gaffer would give the chance to Rønnow and not Schmeichel.

I have absolutely ZERO expectations for this team, after that horror show at the WC.

Lol, put this in the wrong thread earlier.

Not like Macedonia had an amazing result. I thought England looked very poor in the second half. It's amazing how dull Saka looks for England compared to Arsenal. England created one chance in open play, which they ironically missed.

Did Christensen get injured??
Yes :( Looked like a pulled muscle - Xavi gonna be pissed.

Højlund continues his form from Atalanta - Amazing young player(only 20 years old), gets a hatty in his first start for Denmark (3 games in all), I hope Denmark finally has a true #9.

Luxembourg has a few solid players, while Slovakia is pretty weak atm...but that's hilarious
Their star player is MLS s very own Chanot, who's a solid defender I watched several times when Mitrita was starring for NYCFC

Barreiro is a good EL-starter level midfielder for Mainz and Borges-Sanches is a talented young winger who's breaking into BMG's senior team as an 18yo.

It was pretty much full Garethball from the start of the second half. Still a bit surprised they didn't panic after the red card.
There was only a bit of panic after Italy scored. But that team is very experienced and good defensively.
