Probably should have gone back to junior for another year before going off to the NCAA. Or just gone to a smaller program where he would have been "the guy" off the bat. Additionally, COVID wrecked development for a ton of guys, especially at Boston University where they barely played in 2020-21.Probably for the best. Kid really peaked leading up to the draft and just never developed further.

Nah, he just wasn't good enough at the end of the day. It doesn't surprise me at all that he wants to move on with life.Probably should have gone back to junior for another year before going off to the NCAA. Since Draper took over, have we had a single 2nd round+ pick become worth anything?
You would have to assume he was heavily involved in scouting a center playing in the US even if he wasn't the head honcho.Draper took over in 2020.
At 5'10" and 165lbs, he'd need Johnny Hockey (RIP) level skills to succeed in the pros.Nah, he just wasn't good enough at the end of the day. It doesn't surprise me at all that he wants to move on with life.
They didn't count that season for eligibility, so he got to play his 4th real season at Western. Given he was 7th in scoring on that team, it was probably a wise choice for him to move on. At least he got free education.Probably should have gone back to junior for another year before going off to the NCAA.
