Will that really feel that extreme in 4 years, with how fast cable is dying?Man, championship games on stream exclusive? Yikes.

They definitely want in on it. With Comcast, presumably, having no interest in getting back in it sets up perfect to add Amazon while keeping WBD.If the NHL could get on Amazon.. please oh please. I already have TNT with Max

Also, each younger generation has lower percentage of cable users. Getting a head start to build up that streaming base will be very useful in the long run.I wonder if (when??) Netflix will want to get a piece of the action.
I don’t see why people complain about different streaming services. Now, you can bundle them with your phone plan and have it included without any extra charge.
I was doing some house sitting for my parents who still have ‘extended’ cable. There was literally nothing interesting on to watch.
I remember getting into an argument with family members around Xmas time 10 years ago. I specifically harped on that idea where cable will become obsolete/dying in 15-20 years because streaming will take over. They didn’t believe it could ever happen!
Well I think Amazon should buy WBD to reunite the MGM film libraries so a new contract with the combined company could have games exclusive to both TNT and Prime Video (which absorbs max). They definitely want in on it. Al Michaels shoots down return to basketball coverage after Amazon acquires NBA rights
Al Michaels seems very happy sticking to "Thursday Night Football."sports.yahoo.com
Al Michaels will only broadcast football for Amazon, not add basketball to pxp calling.
13 Big 12 football games and 15 basketball games.
The NBA deal is done. Lawsuit over they traded Inside the NBA for Big 12 football and basketball games.

In addition to the Big 12 games on Turner networks, the sub-licensing deal with CBS should be expanded to include football games on CBS (mostly in the noon ET slot), Paramount Network (with the basketball games on CBSSN being moved there as well starting in 2025-26), and Paramount+ (along with exclusive basketball games; the Big 12 would become the first college conference to air some athletic events exclusively on P+).13 Big 12 football games and 15 basketball games.
Great deal for the Big 12 who can get some of their better games off After Dark.
Makes absolutely no sense based on concept of the deal. The deal is to help Turner and add sports content to Turner. Think about it. The Big 12 would become the only conference with football games airing on outlets owned by four different companies. Among the major conglomerates, only NBCUniversal would be left out.Makes absolutely no sense based on concept of the deal. The deal is to help Turner and add sports content to Turner. Not Paramount.
This is not a Big 12 deal though. It's a Turner deal. CBS had a chance to be involved with the Big 12 and didn't take it.Think about it.
