Nobody said in these threads that the Sharks wouldn’t retain. Is it possible to do it without retaining, I think so but likely much tougher. But with retention, there will be a limit on what we’d do most likely.
Again, these threads are predominantly not started by Sharks fans and I personally do not care what random fans view as value for a given trade idea.
My bet is that if Karlsson goes, it’ll be because he asks out and the Sharks would retain two mil at most.
