Stevie, did mention that it was going to be difficult not only sign his free agents but others. You must remember he still has to sign Seider and Raymond which may take 15-17 in cap space. I expect there are going to be trades coming..

9 points on the power play to Gostisbehere's 29.

That quite a comparable number per ice-time, when Gustafsson had only 1:18 IT behind Adam Fox and Ghost was playing 3:21 at 1st PP.

Anyways, it's Moritz Seider who is gonna replace Gostisbehere's PP production at 1st PP and Gustafsson will play 2nd PP probably less than Seider minutes (2:16) at last season.

Seider is gonna get paid and then the production role and responsibility will be given for him. It's obvious.

Yeah Seiders going to walk in and be a top 10 PP QB. Got it.

Even if true, Seider/Gust won't come close to matching Ghost/Seider as PP QB's.

The defense/goalie got marginally better, and now the PP is significantly worst. Teams headed straight for a top 5 pick.

reading this forum sometimes you'd think Ghost was straight up holding the PP back and not behind only Makar/Hughes/Bouchard/Fox/Josi/Hedman in PP production at his position

I get people wanted him gone for his defense but it just comes across as ridiculous when you're that against admitting he actually did something well

On the PP, the Wings scored at a higher GF/60 with Mo than with Ghost out there. And Ghost spent the bulk of the year on PP1.
At ES, the Wings scored at a higher GF/60 with anyone but Ghost out there. And Ghost got the easiest deployment in the league.

If the only way to justify your position on the team is to play you ahead of players that are better than you at your specialty? Yeah, you're holding the team back.

I get people want to Chicken Little the offseason but it just comes across as ridiculous when you're clutching pearls over the loss of the imminently replaceable Shayne Gostisbehere.

Honestly shocked we haven't seen any "now where will we be without Perron's leadership?!?" yet...

This feels like gaslighting. You're not going to make me forget all the times he bobbled a perfectly fine pass at the blueline and muddled up zone-time because of it.
