I would say they should still load up with a trade or two. Ultimately, Schaefer should be back for the postseason and this actually increases his chances of coming back next year where you can trade him away for plenty of picks. Standing pat is a poor approach

I fail to see the logic in making moves if we are just going to trade him off next season and expend more resources we don’t necessarily have. I can understand our GM doing it because he doesn't make good trades and roster moves probably 90% of the time. Why would we not sell Spence now, not rush him Schaefer, and then get more return for the buck next season? At least that would give us a chance to build for next season which we already know is likely to be the start of a rebuild.
