Any team with a lead and down to ten men will time waste. Like, why are people so astonished by this?
lol I mean, come on.

Yes, that is because we opened England to non-English players through the hiring of Wenger, when all the other clubs were giving opportunities to the *proper* English footballing blokes. That's why SAF is so well respected in the footballing community. He's a beautiful Scotland Highlander playing the way all these journalists and FA members grew up playing. THe proper rugby style of the 70s and 80s. It's complete xenophobic corruption against our beautiful mighty viagra club.Is their an agenda against Arsenal?

Our club plays such beautiful football (and has for most of its history), we are like a 600 mg dose of Viagra.I was 50/50 on SEPH post being real. The second half really went off the rails so I’m thinking he’s joking. But to follow it up with some serious investigative work from Inews and bleacher report. I for one am convinced. Arsenal are truly the people’s champion and the beacon of Anti racism. If I was wearing a hat I’d take I’d tip it.
If Trossard legitimately didn't expect there to be a whistle after clattering into a dude from behind while making no attempt on the ball, then uh......
As for Szoboszlai he was lucky but it was also the last action of the game. It does not excuse the action and he can count on his lucky star that he did not receive a yellow but it was not for delaying the game but in frustation of the result of that game obviously.
I do not want to defend Szoboszlai action because it was idiotic but there's a huge difference between the last kick of the game and the last action of the 1st half(which was not even the case, they played the free kick after the foul). As for Michael Oliver he does have an history of red carding players(2nd yellow) late in game. I remember him doing that to Dialot for dissent last season.Trossard's kick could also have been said to be the last action of the half. The allotted extra time was already past
DIdn't care about allotted extra time passing against Luton last season though.Trossard's kick could also have been said to be the last action of the half. The allotted extra time was already past
So it turns out that, prior to this game, City had the longest delay per goal kick at 39.3 seconds per goal kick, which means that Arsenal averaged a mere six seconds longer per goal kick than City averages, which means that Arsenal wasted an additional 72 seconds.lol.
Granted there's a certain amount of "allowed" time for a GK before refs will add on time, so the 9 minutes isn't fully accurate for how much stoppage time there should have been, but the fact that it's a minute higher than #2 and nearly 1:45 higher than #4, it hints that 7 minutes was a totally reasonable number to put on the board. It's also why percentage of time ball is in play isn't a good metric.
If you've got a half with 20 goal kicks, 20 throw ins, 20 fouls, and 15 corners, but they're all taken extremely quickly, there's gonna be hardly any time added on despite the ball being "dead" for a large percentage of the game. Stoppage time isn't really supposed to make up for every single stoppage, it's supposed to make up for excessive time during those stoppages.
