The end of 2024-25 is here. Let's go through the matches and their potential implications:

Bournemouth-Leicester City: Nothing implicated.
Fulham-Man City: A Man City win or draw guarantees Champions League for City. A loss could lead to Europa League.
Wolves-Brentford: A Brentford win could see them qualify for Conference League.
Forest-Chelsea: A Chelsea win guarantees them CL. A Forest win makes them likely to qualify for UCL. A draw sees Chelsea no worse than in Europa, while Forest could finish 6th or 7th.
United-Villa: A Villa win or draw could see them in the UCL. A win guarantees no worse than Europa; a draw could see them in the UECL.
Southampton-Arsenal: Nothing implicated.
Newcastle-Everton: A Newcastle win guarantees CL. A draw or loss means that Newcastle could finish anywhere from 4th (not possible with a loss) to 7th.
Liverpool-Crystal Place: Nothing implicated.
Ipswich-West Ham: Noting implicated.
Tottenham-Brighton: A Brighton win or draw could see them in Conference League. A loss and Brentford win would take away that chance, which is contingent on Chelsea finishing 6th, Newcastle 7th, and Chelsea winning the Conference League OR Chelsea finishing 7th and winning the Conference League.

And with that, I have 4 new venues to learn, although at least two will be repeats of last season.

Conference League would honestly be amazing for Brighton IMO. I'd like our chances on going on a real run.

Cheering for Newcastle loss.

For Arsenal - let's just get this season done lol.

Hopefully your team would be smarter with their talents and no loan them out!

Pulling this from the MW37 thread:

So CL places for Sunday. As before I'll assume a GD of 5+ won't be overturned but will note with a * where one happens in case you're curious.

Liverpool - Locked in as champions
Arsenal - Locked in 2nd place

Here's how each other team can make it (multiple items on the same level of indentation are ORs so they need one of them to happen) :

Manchester City
- Win
- Draw*
- Newcastle doesn't win
- Chelsea doesn't win
- Aston Villa doesn't win
Newcastle
- Win*
- Draw and one of:
- Chelsea/Forest draw
- Aston Villa draw*/loss
- Loss and one of :
- Villa loss
- Chelsea loss and Newcastle loses by no more than 2 goals more than Chelsea loses by (e.g. if Chelsea lose 1-0 Newcastle can lose by at most 3 goals)
Chelsea
- Win*
- Draw and one of:
- Newcastle loss
- Villa draw/loss
- Loss and Villa loss* and Newcastle loses by 3 more goals than Chelsea lose by (e.g. if Chelsea lose 1-0, Newcastle would have to lose by 4 goals)
Aston Villa
- Win and one of:
- Chelsea loss/draw
- Newcastle loss/draw
- Manchester City loss
- Draw and Newcastle loss
Forest
- Win and one of:
- Newcastle loss/draw
- Villa Loss/draw

I'm steeling myself for City, Chelsea and Villa to take the three Champions League places.

It would be entirely characteristic for NUFC to at last achieve the promised land of silverware, but for the immediate sequel to be an implosion born of missing out on a big bag of money.
