Well congrats on being whelmed thenI am neither happy nor sad. Mildly surprised that we performed better than what was expected, and hopeful that progress can continue to be made.

I'd still stick with Ange, supposedly he wants a lot of squad turnover, but things better improve.
I think it will, but as you said, there needs to be a lot of turnover there and he has to get guys that can, and maybe more importantly, WILL play his style of football. They need a lot of turnover. He's playing with a lot of guys who other managers got. But in some cases it does seem to be the "positive mentality" is outweighing results. Sure, they go after clubs and I guess that's good... but at some point that has to end up in results.
Im not suggesting that he's not been good, and it definitely would be ridiculous to get rid of him after this year, but he's not manager of the year. He's maybe top 5.What do you mean still? He should be manager of the year.
Most media predictions had Spurs 8th or lower. Some had them in the bottom 6 of the league. He’s so outperformed expectations it’s ridiculous that people are thinking that he may not be the right guy?
Come on
Im not suggesting that he's not been good, and it definitely would be ridiculous to get rid of him after this year, but he's not manager of the year. He's maybe top 5.
Jimmy Greaves left Spurs 54 years ago brotherI mean, it should be Emery, but my point stands that losing your clubs greatest player of all time after finishing 8th without a replacement and to do better is not appreciated because people are used to Spurs in the top 5.
It’s Emery’s award and everyone else is just competing for runner up.i don't think there's a huge case for anyone for manager of the year outside of emery, iraola, and sean dyche
I think the three best managerial performances are all from the same province in Spain.i don't think there's a huge case for anyone for manager of the year outside of emery, iraola, and sean dyche
He won't... and they haven't been at their best with having the best side... but Pep's still got a strong case any year. It’s Emery’s award and everyone else is just competing for runner up.
in europe? sure, absolutely, because Alonso is number 1I think the three best managerial performances are all from the same province in Spain.
Like what other options would you lot have done? There are none. He's the only one who's actually put a solid foundation this year both a bit on the pitch, but more importantly in the public light.I'd still stick with Ange
The contrast with the bench against Spurs just a month ago is pretty nutsDid you see that Chelsea bench, wow! Imagine if they had that level and amount of players available most of the season.
