That was more on the whole defense or no one bothering to cover Mateta. Onana barely got even a fingertip on the header. Or is Onana being too short his fault? I'm not sure what else was he supposed to do in that situation?
That's the problem. Header is from far away. A decent goalie sends the ball over the bar. Onana can't even reach it.

City is jokes, but this goal came too early from an Arsenal perspective.

The commentator's on my stream praised the quality of the header and put the blame on the defense for not covering Mateta. Onana definitely deserves his blame when it's time but this wasn't it.

I don't care what your commentators say. Anyone can see it.
The header is from far and not particularly strong. Onana jumps like a midget and misses the ball which hits the bar. How many goalies can't jump at bar level?

Ref doing his best not to call City players with fouls. Savinho should have gotten a yellow card for simulating a card. Silva missed a yellow for his tackle and now Martinelli gets his ankles clipped.

Playing with Haaland is playing with 10 men.
It’s strange, though, because last week City won convincingly with Haaland playing far more like he did at Dortmund. He is capable of being a far more rounded striker. I don’t know why Pep fully switches his tactics back this week - you can’t repeat them exactly (because Gabriel and Saliba are not Chalobah and Colwill, lol), but they looked a lot more dynamic.
