Nketiah isn't a striker a title challenger should want leading the line, but also not sure how reasonable it is to have a backup striker who is better than him unless you've got a guy who naturally plays elsewhere.

When you're #9 goes down for a good chunk of the season, you're gonna have guys on attack who aren't quite as good.
I might be too harsh, but if Haaland goes down, they still have Alaverz who's capable of keeping them in games. Nketiah should have scored on his second chance and yet not only missed that but missed both quality ones. It might be a timing issue because Balogun is beasting Ligue 1, but is not ready to play in the EPL just yet.

City is the exception because money isn't an issue for them because they'll just make up another sponsorship.

How many other teams in the world have that depth?

Ederson and Silva could have been sent off in the first half. Gave away two goals and Nketiah missed a couple good chances, for one reason or another. Win on Saturday.

Go Forest.

Man, I am fuming at this loss, probably the angriest I have ever been, not because Citeh were great. That was the opposite but in classic garbage Arsenal fashion, you have people running around with their heads cut off gifting goals to the opponents. Maybe City is that good to press people into mistakes, but I didn't really see that on their first or second goal. Just carelessness with the ball with no IQ for the game.

All of this happened because of that f***ing FA Cup draw, Arsenal's momentum pretty much disappeared since that game and looks like a fragile and hopeless club at the moment.

That's true, but it's also keeping players happy as well. Alaverz has no problem sitting on the bench when a non-ME oil money club tends to lose great backup players because they're good enough to start for somebody else.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I don't care what the announcers were spewing, Arsenal was never in this game. That was sad.

Simply not true. They were better in the first half and shouldve had the lead
Silva got away with a ton of fouls. Ederson gave up a penalty that should have been a yellow (and likely would have been had he not already been booked)
And got booked for a nothing burger. Ederson getting a 2nd yellow for that wouldve been scandalous refing.

That's odd, I'm watching on peacock. I don't have the commercial-free premium either or whatever it is.

It's the games on USA I can never watch live at home.
Very well could be my fault overlooking that but they regularly hide some EPL games behind like Peacock Premium Plus or whatever, and honestly I don't really even know what comes with Peacock through being a Comcast/Xfinity cable subscriber. It's just bullshit, should be able to watch everything NBC has to offer if you're a Comcast/Xfinity subscriber paying their extortionist fees.

Ederson should have easily been a second yellow even if the penalty was weak (if you call a pen, then that's a card...there's no debate), but when a team wins by more than a goal you can't really blame the refs then. We lost by two goals on home turf, that's simply not good enough at all.

Welp, I guess the parade in London is off
Tell me when your club gets back to relevance and then we can talk about parades.

So it’s a weak penalty but since it’s a penalty the ref should make a bigger mistake. Lol

In practicality? Yes, because a weak penalty is still classified as a penalty just like a nanometre offside is still classified as offside. However, the contact was there to be given a foul worthy of a yellow card, because he called it a pen, you also gotta give him the yellow for the amount of force in the body cheque. You gotta look at it in shades of black and white instead of grey. If you don't think that was a penalty foremost, then no card should have been given even if there was contact.

United doesn't even have a single high quality natural #9, nevermind two of them

Rashford can do well when he's there, but that's not his natural position.
With the spending i meant.

Not how it works.
Got booked for his 5th foul, after kicking Saka all half.

Ederson getting a yellow for a penalty wouldn't have been scandalous. Behave.
When the first yellow is wasting time... its never a 2nd yellow. Get real.

First time in how long that Arsenal actually are playing for the league?

If we want to talk about stuff, should we talk about what’s likely going to be a 8 point lead pissed away?

Well, if you told me a year ago I'd be sitting here thinking, "Now I know how Liverpool fans feel"

Just wait until it keeps happening more and more, some absolutely shocking officiating both against you and for them kicks in during the last few weeks, and you get the overwhelming feeling that you're being cheated.

If you're implying Arsenal fans should think there's a conspiracy against them, you're a little late with that one.
