For sure. The vast majority of LFC fans (especially the match going ones) are firmly in his corner. Maybe he makes it here, maybe he doesn’t, but he is always putting effort in. He’s not Carroll/Balotelli/Lambert tier. He’s obviously not Firmino either, who wasn’t a prolific scorer either but did literally everything less. There’s a loud online presence rooting against him, and yeah I don’t think he’s a long term solution, but you can tell him team mates love him and want him to do wellI’m legit super happy for Darwin tbh
Or could it be that after the season with Inter and being UCL MVP, people thought he had developed?Silence isnt a seal of approval.

I think we're seeing the signs of Mainoo being "forced" to play too much last season. He could've used time to improve his leg speed, since at his age, it's still somewhat possible with proper training because he's been looking really slow. I know Casemiro is basically one foot out of the door even though nothing seems to be happening with a possible move to the Saudis but he looked good with Ugarte the couple of times we've seen them on the pitch. Granted, their best outing came under Ruud and a different "system".Ugarte and Mainoo have struggled these last two games.
